Westchester Kennels is owned and operated by Jan and Ric Arsenault. We have been active in dogs through our Airedale Terriers since 1975. We started in obedience with our first Airedale, Jannie, and have been showing and breeding since 1977 under the Westchester prefix. We have bred many Canadian and American Champion Airedales during the past 30 years and have put a few obedience titles on Airedales as well. Jan has extensive experience in all dog breeds through training obedience classes for the local kennel club for 15 years.
She is currently Show Chairman for the Seaway Kennel Club and has run their all breed show for the past five years.

BOARDING
Our kennel is located on our country property, so there is always someone present.
Our indoor runs are air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter.
We supply clean bedding.
Your dog is walked out to our large runs several times per day, weather permitting.
FEES
Boarding charges are $25.00 per day. Fees are charged for the day your dog arrives.
Dogs picked up later than 12 noon, will pay for that day.
There is a three day minimum charge for Christmas Holidays and March break.There is an extra fee if you don't bring your dog's food.
TIMES
Normal pick up and drop off times are 9:00am to 12 noon, and 4:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Saturday.
Sunday pickups are from 4:00pm to 6:00pm ONLY.
Other pickup and drop off times by appointment only.
FOOD
We feed your dog our food,(Pedigree Mealtime), or you may bring your own food.
We also give dog treats. Please let us know if there are any food allergies or other needs.
MEDICINES
There is no extra charge for giving medications. Please make sure these medications are clearly marked with your dog's name, the name of the medication, and the dosage and times to be given.
VACCINATIONS
All Dogs must have up to date rabies vaccinations. For your dogs protection, we recommend they have distemper, parinfluenza, parvovirus, and bordetella.
Check with your vet for proper schedules.
From Toronto:Follow the Q.E.W towards St. Catharines. Exit at 7th. Street. Go south (away from the lake) to the second stop sign. (Regional Rd. #81/Hwy #8). Turn left on #81. Follow until you reach 5th. Street and turn right. Follow 5th. street to 8th. Avenue and turn left on to 8th. We are at 1389 8th.
From Niagara: Q.E.W. to 3rd. St. exit. Left on to 3rd. all the way to 8th. Turn right and
continue to 1389 8th.
